Blyp is the super analyst. Built specifically for Shopify store owners, Blyp monitors your store's performance, uncovers potential issues that need attention, and helps craft customized insights to drive your sales and promote growth. All of the tools and platforms you work with while operating your store offer you data, reports, and dashboards to help you do a better job.

After running customer research and messaging discovery, We had a good idea about who our major competitors were, what problem they are trying to solve, and for whom they are trying to solve it.

The Challenge

Online analytic services have been around for a while now and so have the big players that lead the industry. That meant creating a platform that was at least as appealing as anything advertised by the competition. On top of that, it had to be focused on usability, maximum engagement, and top-notch customization.

The Goal

Learning the business. This includes the target market, sales cycle, the product, and anything else which may be relevant. To get a sense of the existing tools, systems, and data. To write up a road map, a project list, and any major concerns or roadblocks, we identify.

The Team

Our attention was focused on the complexity of the project, which implied a lot of resources on both sides. Therefore we cannot but compliment the awesome team behind it: a front-end developer, a designer, a QA specialist, and a product manager.

Solution

We kicked off with a solid wireframe based on the business objective and the creative idea we had in mind. Then we focused on custom features that would bring this kind of business to the next level.

The huge amount of content also influenced us to display most of the information with a super easy-to-read black font on a white background. Only the main features and buttons were emphasized with green and blue to make sure the user guesswork is avoided.
